At a.s.r. you can choose your preferred payment method. At ‘Ik kies zelf van a.s.r.’ we only offer direct debit. Below you can see an overview of the payment options.

Want to know more about the date your premium is debited? We have summarised the most important information for you below.

We collect the premium for each instalment around the first of the month. The exception is the month of January, when we will automatically debit the premium around the 16th.
Did you apply for health insurance after 12th January? In that case a double premium will be debited for both January and February on the first business day of February.

You will receive a payment request e-mail with an iDEAL link for each instalment around the first of the month. The only exception is the month of January, when you will receive a payment request around the 16th.

Have you chosen to pay your health insurance premium annually? Then you can pay your annual premium in advance. In this case you also receive a 2% discount on your premium.
Make sure your payment term is set to annual, otherwise we can not process your payment. Click here to adjust your payment term.
Please note: Pay your premium in advance between 1st December and 27th December, so we can ensure your account will not be debited in January.

To transfer your annual premium manually, please the following:
- Transfer the total amount (you can find this on your policy) to NL64 ABNA 0240 5420 45 under account name ASR IKZ ZORG.
- Please enter the following in the description of your payment: "jaarpremie 2026 + policy number".
You can find your policy number in your a.s.r. account or in our 'Zorg app' under 'Mijn verzekering'. Your policy number starts with 46 or 47, followed by seven numbers.
Do you have multiple people insured on your policy? In that case only use the policyholder’s policy number.

To transfer your annual premium manually, please the following:
- Transfer the total amount (you can find this on your policy) to NL32 ABNA 0243 5241 10 under account name ASR Zorgverzekering NV.
- Please enter the following in the description of your payment: "jaarpremie 2026 + policy number".
You can find your policy number in your a.s.r. account or in our 'Zorg app' under 'Mijn verzekering'. Your policy number starts with 13.
Do you have multiple people insured on your policy? In that case only use the policyholder’s policy number.
It is not possible to change the debit date for your premium. We collect your health insurance around the first of the month. The exception is the month of January, when we will automatically debit the premium around 16th.
Any payments we have received and processed will be visible in your a.s.r. account and our ‘Zorg app’. Please note that it usually takes one to two business days for us to process payments.
Is your payment not shown in your a.s.r. account after three full business days? Please first check if the payment has been debited from your bank account. If the money has been taken out of your bank account but is not visible in your a.s.r. account, please get in touch.
In your a.s.r. account you can find ‘Vooruitbetalingen’.
In your a.s.r. account you can find an overview of all your bills, both paid and unpaid.
When transferring money to us manually, it is important to include the payment reference in the description of the payment. You can find this reference in your a.s.r. account under invoices.
Do you currently pay your health insurance monthly, but would like to pay annually from next year? Or would you like to switch from paying annually to paying monthly? You can easily change your payment term in your a.s.r. account or our ‘Zorg app’.
